There are all sorts of mentalities out there around blue chips markets being tried and true/over saturated, etc.If it were me, I would research which markets had the best potential based on your budget and proximity, then start reaching out for STR specific realtor contacts in those markets in this forum

Where Chris mentions income approach should be what an investor is concerned with, I'd have to disagree with due respect because income approach (IA) will never (never has for me) been used to push market value upwards on an actual appraisal therefore the appraisal could never be used for a refinance to obtain a loan against the property or on a purchase of 1-4 MFR or SFR.My position is that while we can mentally masturbate with IA method of valuation it will never have relevance in the real world (to sell, use asset as leverage, etc).

A major selling point for my work is that you can focus on the value add parts of your RE business that only you can do- the "work on your business, not in your business" mentality of specialization and outsourcing.

Your hardest critic is your brain and if you like to live comfortable and not push yourself mentally you probably won't retire till 60 if your lucky.

I just dont get the mentality of people who I am trying to give money to.I am definitely on the hunt for other knowledgable agents.

If that is happening I can see why it attracts that mentality.

I 100% believe this is just trolling, and am exhausted of the lack of policing such on the forums. 

I think your mental health is worth more than that.
