Even if it did, it would happen 100x less than in your regular 12 month lease situation.Unfortunately, I've experienced both of those things in my traditional rentals.

If 67% of the unit owners vote to implement restrictions, you may be prohibited from renting, unless there are grandfather provisions or hardship provisions included in the restrictions.If you’re already renting when that vote passes, you should be able to continue to lease your unit for the remainder of the lease term.

For the price I could have probably picked up 6 doors or more in Memphis or another appreciating market in the south east but out of state was just too big of a leap for my first purchase and I wanted to A. stop paying rent and B. be able to leverage air BnB for more cash on all of my travel in a way I could not with my previous rental due to lease restrictions.
