Breaking a Lease for Investment property???
Back in January I needed a place to stay because of work, so I found an apartment and signed a 1 year lease. However, I am now actively looking for an investment property and was wondering, if I find good deal this year, like a duplex that I could house hack, what would be the best way to get out of the lease so I wouldn't be making two payments?

@Jared Baker, You're about to become one of them - a landlord. So ask yourself what you'd expect of your tenant who signed a year lease. And what you'd be willing to do to let them out.
