Hello - Are there any landlords that invest out of state and manage properties?

Downside is being a live-in landlord and I frankly don’t want to live there, but it’s a possibility if this puts me in line with my goal.

His situation was he was sick of being a landlord.

It all depends on what you do, how you do it and who you do it with.While some might consider working for a company as a highly qaulified and trained expert as boring, there are just as many others who would think running a commercial real estate brokerage is boring or many that think the idea of landlording as only onerous.

MLS, FSBO, driving my "farm" looking for "not so hot looking" yards and exteriors, word of mouth, tired landlords etc, etc.The two worst sources were the first 2.

Anyone here using the ideas, techniques or materials from Jeffrey Taylor's Mr Landlord program?

I was talking to a landlord who recently upgraded 29 units (all SFR or duplexes) with air conditioning.

Landlord talks about upgrades and add-ons where a tenant will pay a bit more for some things.
