BACKGROUND:I live in the East Bay (Oakland - Grand Lake) area of San Francisco and I've become friendly with my elderly neighbor this past year who is willing to sell his 3bed/2bath 2,500sqft 1906 craftsman, to me. 

I live in a neighborhood that will eventually have a shortcut road connecting to close to the west side of Disney property- our side (Lake County) is complete, but the Orange County side are dragging their feet.  

Using a 1031 from a former property, we bought a 5br/5ba lake house in Virginia for $439,000.

Lake Nona is real nice and would be in the drive time.

I also pay for dock insurance for our lake house even though we don't have a dock.

Grew up in Salt Lake and have seen some crazy mountain builds.

My wife and I are over by Deer Lake State Park on 30A.We are looking to get into other investments down here now that we are full-time residents.We moved into our previous investment, and plan to lease it for our next move.

Then in the summer months it's about 30mins to Newfound Lake and 60mins to Lake Winnipesaukee.

If cruises are shut down, international travel is down, domestic flights are down - vacation rentals are a great safe option for people to enjoy themselves at a lake, beach, or mountain destination.
