The cost for vendors to travel that far would be excessive to the owners and result in a whole new set of vendors that you don't get a chance to interact with often, again resulting in either higher cost or poor service.

Either way, you will need to interact with a lot of folks and you will want to educate yourself on the Chicago Land Lord Tenant Ordinance as well as fair housing rules so you don't do anything to get yourself into trouble.
