Get to the real estate  island and burn the boat.

I was not that impressed that day with my services..but I guess I’m used to the island’s (Galveston) slow pace and thought Houston would move a little faster.Now comes getting a renter in there.

I've agreed to terms to buy a six unit MF property in Rhode Island.

The areas you can get a duplex for 200k may not be the best, but if you plan to turn the property into a dedicated investment then it's only a temporary arrangement.I work with a small, boutique brokerage called Sand Dollar Real Estate Group on Sullivans Island.

So far I have only spoken to a military friend on island regarding the civil relief act.

Rhode Island in general is a tough state to invest as  in most cases the numbers don't work (as a stand alone investment) unless your owner occupied.  

Recently visited Hilton head Island, spoke to several locals, they all say the state of South Carolina is really booming.

i know there's great opportunity if the island expands its tourism marketing and atracts more visitors.
