And realtytrac just had some data showing Pittsburgh at #7 for rental growth market for 2017, So I'm excited.

I am still diving into the possibilities but I am specifically interested in single-family homes and small multi family units as they seem the most approachable for me in the next two years (I'm picturing a conventional mortgage, FHA loan, or VA loan and living in my first purchase); although I am excited to learn about other paths and ideas.That's about it, thank you and I'm excited to see you around the site!

Hi Ethan, welcome to the sometimes exciting world of real estate. ;-)I know of two kinds of Honest mentors, there is the kind that will provide tons of information such as Bigger Pockets.

I have invested in other areas to maintain diversification and now excited to explore Real estate.My goal for this year is to save enough and buy a single family home by August 2017.I will try to learn and gather as much information as i could in this time frame.2 Year goal (2019)- Own 3 Single Family Homes and automating the whole process of buying and maintaining properties.5 Year Goals() - Own 10 Rental properties, retire from Job and move to a new city replicating the same process.
