That seems like a pretty good deal and something I should definitely consider on some of my loans.

By definition, I also can't say these are all considered Crowdfunding site, but nonetheless, are interesting platforms to learn about and/or invest in the built environment.Would love to have others add their own list with some basic understanding of what they offer.   

@Dan Smucker of course, I am definitely biased, but I'd encourage you to check out Birmingham, AL.

We are going to be traveling and off-the-grid for a couple of weeks, but we definitely plan on attending events in northern NJ beginning in August.

Don't know CA laws, but here we would definitely cash the check, issue another 3-day notice with corrected amounts, and either they bring current, or they get evicted. 

I would definitely start with listening to the bigger pockets podcast, very good source of information, ideas, and motivation :)

Tech industry isn't so bad right now for a full-time gig to build some hard money but Phoenix is definitely up there now thanks to those pesky Californians... like myself lol.

@Robert Ombres I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and have always been a huge fan of the Smokey Mountains... definitely would love to grab something up there at some point!

But there are a few cities in Oregon and Nevada, that have shown good numbers as well, so definitely worth looking into!
