My answer is simple but two-fold.1) I needed to take care of my family at a level that my career couldn’t provide.

I just want to start learning more about this field and see where I can start out.

I have 8 years experience with being a construction superintendent, field manager, manager, etc. 

For my career and living  situation, I have recently taking a huge pay cut to pursue a job in a field I love and I hope to have big growth in within a small company.

My default plan is to "hold forever", unless I have a compelling reason to sell, since my goal is to replace my career income with rental income.
