If it's simply to "stay anonymous" from an ownership perspective that's understandable...but if it's for protection you can also get a lot of that from an umbrella policy.

I've been to Big Bear California 15 or 20 times and Lake Arrowhead and never had an inclination to rent a home or cabin at Lake Arrowhead because there are many more outdoor activities and stores and services of every type at Big Bear.
