I walked into a large real estate owners office once right before thanksgiving.. this guy owned about 200 SFR's in Portland value then probably 150k a door this was mid 90s today easy 350 to 400k a door..

I went back to the Local Tax Collector and after a half hour of research and phone calls, it appears that when the original ONE parcel was subdivided into THREE parcels 29 years ago, the property owner never recorded the deeds with the Bergen County Clerk (which was in violation of the terms with the town who approved the subdivision: "the Developer agrees to promptly record the Deed in the Bergen County Clerk's Office.").

Most of the things they will have will be on payments or relatively worthless.I don't think this is a good way to conduct business for either side of the transaction.Possibly in a Commercial or Office setting, but not residential.Poor people rent.
