HI All, this is an open question to the BP community as I have never dealt with corporate rentals but got an interested company recently.

My wife is an attorney with corporate banking experience.

However, I need to speak with an attorney about whether this will effectively negate the point of the LLC if it will allow a judge to pierce the corporate veil.

(a) For purposes of this Article the following definitions apply:(1) A "loan broker" is any person, firm, or corporation who, in return for anyconsideration from any person, promises to (i) procure for such person, or assistsuch person in procuring, a loan from any third party; or (ii) consider whetheror not it will make a loan to such person.(2) A "loan" is an agreement to advance money or property in return for the promiseto make payments therefor, whether such agreement is styled as a loan, creditcard, line of credit, a lease or otherwise.

Also, it may be easier to pierce the corporate veil if it's just under your name.
