They are hung and partially installed but I don’t want to finish and screw radiators baseboard down to lead baseboards that are going to get ripped out and potentially damage the new baseboard heating elements that I would have just installed. 

If there was oil in the basement , the smell would hit you like a ton of bricks , heating oil is diesel fuel , it has a strong odor .

It's large on a big piece of property and the maintenance, insurance, upkeep, taxes, heating, cooling, etc. digs into my pockets each month. 

I recently looked a broker pro forma in Cicero, IL where a 27 unit with a steam boiler had $3,000 listed for the heating bill.

It would be used to heat the house and the water.

If it's cold, crank up the heat, if it's hot and humid, crank up the A/C.

Borcheldt has done heating and air for me at Ft Wayne rentals over 20 years. 

The house has and oil furnace with no air conditioning so we'll be installing a new heat pump in addition to new insulation to keep the things comfortable inside.
