We’re hoping the proximity to the “golden triangle” will support this.

That kind of triangle, going West doesn't have CTA service, therefore transportation sucks and doesn't allow it to be connected to the remainder of the city where most of the jobs are. 

She helped me with getting into contact with contractors she's used in the past, but the house I purchased is closer to Fort Bragg and Fayetteville, NC, outside of the Raleigh Durham Triangle area most of them usually work in.I've made contact with one general contractor in the area through a local REIA.

With it's location being right between the triangle and triad, it's a convenient place to live if you work in either of those locations.

@Michael Bennett, is there a reason you wouldn't just give that small triangle of land to the adjacent property?

@Alicia Tingey Geddes I'd strongly consider living in Raleigh-Durham, NC, and investing in the great tertiary markets in and around the Research Triangle.

I am a rookie investor and Marine Corps Officer looking to connect with others interested in the North Carolina market, specifically around the Research Triangle.

With all the growth in the Triangle area, I can't imagine the construction would be a long term detriment to an investment property, but knowing and being able to track the timeline can help in your decision and overall awareness of the future plans for the area.
