(first one was a no go)  It's still terrifying.  

The idea of a long distance is terrifying and amazing, very impressive!

This could be my 1st deal which is exciting and terrifying at the same time. 

So I have been thinking about getting into real estate for a while.  I have been listening to the pod casts, watching the webinars, doing some analysis, trying to convince my wife,  and investigating my local market f...

I am terrified of the so called "Rat Race" described by Robert Kiyosaki in Rich Dad Poor Dad, and I love real estate and see it as a way to do what I love as well as become financially independent.I have been studying real estate for awhile now, particularly wholesaling, and want to get started taking my first step to action.

I know that many of you will point out the dangers of vacancy, going  into negative cashflow, etc, but honestly, we have good jobs and are not terrified by the idea of having to dip into our pockets occasionally if needed (we also don't plan on amassing an "empire", probably no more than a half dozen). i.e.

I must say that since I don't really know what I'm doing, I'm a little terrified of the process.

However, the numbers work.This is my first and I am TERRIFIED.  

If you are completely terrified of cold calling, take that into consideration. 

If you bring someone experienced into the deal who can help bring capital, it'll be less terrifying the first time around.
