Example, a few buys I am doing now with clients are for Pyramiding equity, into faster appreciating markets with low supply to demand ratio, specific $ point for the SFH's and were deploying into townhomes BECAUSE we are targeting divorcing persons for tenants from the surrounding SFH neighborhoods who have 1-3 kids and a desire to remain in school district during divorce completion to allow for next home purchase.

I DO agree with the above comment regarding considering the surrounding neighborhoods.

I would love to meet up with active Real Estate Investors in the Chicagoland area/surrounding suburbs to pick your brain a bit, possibly shadow you on day-to-day activities, and see how to successfully go about beginning on this path to wealth through Real Estate. 

You appear to be seduced by the hype surrounding cost segregation.

Do you want Phoenix proper or do you want one of the surrounding towns?

Charlotte is a tough market from a cash flow perspective because price points are so high, but some surrounding areas are proving fruitful.

We're concentrated in the Meridian-Kessler/Broad Ripple areas.I'm curious how other investors did in Indianapolis and surrounding counties.  

@Neil Stark- Our team has been drawn to not only the urban core neighborhoods like the West End Theatre District and Old Allentown but also the outskirts of towns and the up-and-coming towns surrounding the city.

Despite what two short guys on a television infomercial may have told them, or some Guy on a boat surrounded by bikini girls may have told them years ago.

I am concerned the area I purchased in 32148 won't see as much appreciation compared  to a purchase in another surrounding county.
