lived through the Walker protest in Madison, it stuns me people aren't reacting to the non budget more vocally.  

We ended up with dome extra cash from a flip and just paid it off.

In my opinion flipping houses is not only about finding good deals to buy/sell/ finance.Giving the property a stunning look on a minimum budget, right adjustments, right colors and enough "style-freedom" for buyer to make it their own, will get it sold in no time.

Only other thing I could think of is ask land owner to delay getting paid till project is done, but that doesn't do me much good either (or does it?)

It's not a stunning deal but I thought it was okay because this borrower has a good track-record and I've done one deal with him in the past.
