I should say the proof of insurance does not show the exclusions - Policy does show exclusions - sad part is that they never sent me the policy document - until I asked after the incident- just the proof of insurance and invoice This experience taught me that I have to look closely on what is excluded in the policy

In fact, if the communications are unsolicited, repeated, and commercial in nature (as you are running a business) you are at risk of being sued for TCPA violations, where the "sellers" you are harassing can bring private party action against you for between 500-1500 per incident.

I just don't see how this will result in less 'incidents' because ultimately, it's still the police officers who need to respond to things that are potentially dangerous.I personally believe defunding the police will lead to more shortcuts in training, less vetting, outdated equipment, and a myriad of other things that will only make their jobs more difficult.
