Has anyone else encountered this response as well?

The predetory contractors I have encountered have tended to be the cheapest bids.

We commonly encounter folks investing in RE with an IRA who would have been better-served by a 401k.

I agree, like the police stops in the middle of the street looking for expired inspection stickers, this is merely a fundraiser.

Congrats on your first deal.One question...In Minnesota, the mortgage broker is required by law to give the borrower a good faith estimate (a draft HUD) so there is less sticker shock at closing and so the lenders don't sneak in extra fees at the closing table.Is this required in your area?

I understand every forum has different rules, I have just never encountered a problem with it before.
