It was not uncommon for DISCHARGES to not be recorded for MONTHS (one of mine was not recorded for over a year).

A lender will ask how long was your job gap, where you discharged honerably from the military (to be eligible for a VA loan), what is your credit like, and how much do you have saved for your closing costs.

Aside from a few minor problems that I can fix easily for less than $100 there were a few problems that I consider to be major issues. 1 The TPR discharge pipe on water heater is PVC and drains directly into the drip pan.2 The electric panel is missing the deadfront cover and one breaker in the electric panel has more than one wire connected.3 A horizontal sliding window has been installed as a vertical single hung window in the bathroom.What do you think I should do?

So if you went into a payment plan (sounds like you didn't) you would need to complete that and have the BK "discharged."

We've had that happen to two folks since we've been there and it takes a serious hit to the bottom line - your option is to discharge them and find another resident however you really have to weigh the fact that if you kick a resident out you can disrupt the whole community of residents and throw the whole thing off balance.

I think there are restrictions on how soon they can file for bankruptcy after a previous one was discharged though.
