Otherwise, it’s 60 days if you or immediate family intends to occupy, and/or you intend to withdraw the premises from the rental market, and/or you intend to demo or substantially remodel, and/or you entered into a contract to sell premises to a natural person, AND purchaser intends to reside in the premises, AND title to the premises is an SFR or condo, AND owner has previously provided tenant with a rent control exemption form.

Not everyone can do the electrical/plumbing Etc, but everyone can demo, sand floors, paint, and that kind of easy stuff.

I was told we have to demo it.

In the area I invest in the City has to demo several properties a year because the owners can not keep them up and they become dangerous. 

If you do own the land free and clear with nothing into it (demo costs money to though so keep that in mind), it might be worth something to that kind of investor.

I have done free demos, even paid full price for the "other" tools and PS is the best. 

We redid all major systems, demoed and rebuilt an extension, all new kitchen, bathrooms, floors, walls etc.

Is the cost of demoing the place and replacing with conventional sheetrock typically worth it in cases like this?

Purchase price: $110,000 Cash invested: $45,000 We gutted most of the house to make way for new electrical, plumbing new kitchen and demo.

If I want to make a hallway, I would need to demo the bathroom or make the already small room a bit smaller to make way for a hallway.
