Would you expect things like kitchen cabinets to need to be replaced again?

Or if it's vacant I've seen them where the copper water lines are missing, cabinets missing, AC and/or furnace missing, water heater missing.   

The bathroom must have a 5' turning radius, the sink must be wall hung or open cabinet( 34" to top rim), the toilet must have the proper grab bars installed and at certain heights, the flush handle on the toilet must face the side that has the 5' turning radius not the opposite side.

Nobody wants their house sitting 98% done for 2-3 weeks because you didn’t order your cabinets in time and they couldn’t measure your counter tops until they were in.Now I take all this information and put it in reverse order on a calendar working back from the finish date.

I think him and his insane cabinet are all about to be indicted and/or thrown out of office, so if you have any plans in this arena, I'd steady the course but not try to stick your head out too much until things get a bit saner at the fed level... 

For example he knocked out a wall and the old broken kitchen cabinets.

HG TV uses it as a way of shortcutting time, money and effort by doing cabinet hacks, or built-in hacks or whatever. 

My biggest advice is to do any major demo and work (taking out a wall, replacing/repainting cabinets, refinishing or replacing floors).
