This should leave small pin holes so take a small craft brush and paint just the nail hole.  99% of the time this works for small nicks or holes and keeps you from having to paint the whole wall and nobody knows the difference.  

Maybe answering these for yourself will help you clear the brush from your path a bit.

All speculation at the moment - I've come into two vacant lots (0.37 acres each) in the city limits in my small hometown (6,000 people) and they need some brush cleared.

Or would it still workout if I brushed up on all 3 courses and took a crash course?
