@Ryan McGrath I think your first concern is to make sure it's a legal rooming house or to understand the steps that it will take to make it one - which I'll bet would include things like extra egresses and a sprinkler system.One incident / phone call / police visit where word gets back to the building inspector and you might find a big red "VIOLATION" sticker on your front door.Next, I'd want to do some forensic accounting.

Basically here’s what I do rent is due on the first if it’s not paid by then I can apply a 50$ late fee which I will do if they peeved me off enough .. on the 5 day I put up quit or pay notice on the 15 day you file for eviction with the local magistrate ideally by the months end a police officer is throwing them out on the street where they belong .

@Jesse KerrYou can ask them about average sales prices, days on market, housing statistics, age of neighborhood/when homes were built, things like that.If you’re interested in demographics or crime rates, you need to look at sites like city-data dot com or neighborhood scout dot com or local police websites, or whatever you can find online, as agents can’t provide that information to you.
