Needless to say he failed and ended up calling us to correct the problem because it was their only bathroom.

As time goes on, its impact decreases, but needless to say some people got very lucky and their success has a lot to with luck vis-à-vis when they entered the market.

Maybe that's why I'm back in the hood...trying to "make it" here.I noticed a flip down the street and mailed an offer to the house flipper to work for free just to learn the business...Needless to say house flippers are likely apprehensive about taking on new people.

Needless to say I've been super patient throughout this process since it's a great deal and has tremendous upside potential.  

After talking to him, he told me a few things:Real estate investing was the worst idea he's ever had.There's no money in it.It's a good idea to hold a home after 12 months because the taxes are lower (even though he finished the rehab in 6 months)If I'm smart enough to think about real estate, I should be smart enough to come up with something else that's going to make some "real money"Needless to say, I'm contacting other investors.

Needless to say i am learning the hard way, my house is currently under foreclosure no sale date they say i need 10k to bring it current.

Needless to say, I'm up to my eyebrows in bookkeeping and need to get it off my plate.I do really like the control so will need to resign myself to that change.
