When this happens, you have to use your ability to deal with people, and salesmanship (for lack of better term) to pick up the slack and create a good tenant dynamic.TLDR: boot all tenants that don't fit your requirements until you can't afford not to, then adapt and overcome.

What seems to separate the good from the bad is proper measuring, accounting for not perfectly square wall corners and being able to adapt on the fly for funky cabinet levels.
