I was pretty unbearably upside down.My co-owner wanted to sell for a loss but I couldn't because I didn't have the cash to close it clean, so he sold me his half (by paying me to take it) and I began renting the place out.I began renting this place in 2009 after 9 months on the market but was still losing cash.

I am familiar with the south shore area as I use to live in Norwood and the commute was just unbearable (Rt 128 traffic is a killer, Watertown is about as far south as I’d realistically would want to be).Someone mentioned looking for FHA loans which would allow me to put down less than 20% down payment, however is that advisable if I have the cash for the full 20%?
