Too many people got way too crafty and built new luxury “cabins” similar to that of a trendy Silicon Valley style home, and that’s just not the market here, those places will take huge haircuts.also the pool cabin pumpers during Covid did exceptionally well when kids were doing school from home and there was a lot of demand year round for pools in off peak times…now those pool cabins sit empty because kids are in school and people aren’t willing to pay a premium to stay so the place sits unoccupied.

I have stopped using agents in most my cities because they just follow the trend, I use them to know where not to go.

IowaThe trend is towards the south or interior of the country, but what about those looking for Ocean friendly investment States and communities?

Tends to attract a younger /trendy crowd.

Personally, the Indianapolis and surrounding areas will remain "hot and trendy" for a while as economic development is growing in the region.

Otherwise, I buy the cheap trendy furniture at target and then offer to sell it to the new owners right before closing.

I guess if I were doing regular unfurnished rentals, I might go with a gray as people are recommending- more trendy than beige now.
