I just see this thought process of being extremely cheap . we all have things we splurge on and things we are conservative about I can't think of more information for less money than this site.. hands down.

If you were financially free, and just wanted to splurge money on some new hobby or a toy or activity, what is the fun thing you would do? 

The tile is the only thing I splurged on, almost $2000 in tile and Idid it my self.

So don't splurge on something that would have a big "wow" factor for today's buyer and bank on it having the same effect in ten years.I'm a big bathtub fan personally, however I think for the future having one bathroom with a walk in shower might be an advantage.

Seems like it's better to splurge a little on a faucet to make sure that issues are limited.
