Sure, I have a cash account for security, but I ensure a degree of liquidity in my investments to call upon when needed.The definition of 'saving' is up for grabs, but I see it to mean, setting moneys aside as contingency, and for soothing financial stress.

Usually I'd spend the next 24 hours buried in building code, detaching from reality as I'm played the soothing sounds of being on hold with the city.

Needless to say, this took the wind out of my sails and I crawled off to the sidelines to soothe my wounds and ego. 

Bigger pockets is almost like....a club of some sorts and you guys are my friends who are taking the time out to listen to my problems and give advice and sooth my anxieties even though I have never met any of you

I hear the sound of the Atlantic surf on the Portuguese beaches can soothe even the blackest, most maggot-eaten ruin of a soul. 

One thing I did to soothe my conscience in a similar situation, was to cover the moving costs.

Go with your gut re:  who is being transparent and honest vs. those who might be blowing things up to soothe their egos. 

Friends of mine went through a phase of putting their baby to sleep in the laundry room b/c the dryer soothed her to sleep.
