In my opinion, your GC might think this is good idea now but when he realises you are not selling any of your properties and his work starts being more more as you buy more properties he probably won't like it as much because altough he is gaining equity he is getting no cash flow.

Banner ads may be ok for breeding brand trust - especially among less techy demographics, who don't realise that you can buy online advertising quite cheaply, but I don't think you'll see anywhere near the print response rate for high value stuff online.You can still get good results online, but it needs a different approach - I've found networking and building up relationships with prospective clients on a personal level to be the most cost effective way to do things - it takes a lot of time, but you get a higher quality of client from it, so I think it pays off.

Trusts are usually not something you would consider starting out and where your in-laws are sitting on a large capital gain, they likely cannot transfer it into a trust without realising a gain - hopefully I am wrong and your team (accountant and solicitor) will know a way it could be done.
