It's the other way around :(because) fiat currency declines in buying power , thus (hard) assets (such as mortgage-based assets) appreciate.The latter part is the root cause, causing the secondary phenomena

All you need do is find a conservative friend and ask if you can read their Facebook feed, talk to their friends, listen to their radio, or whatever flips your pickle.Of course we can't blame Disney's downturn completely on this phenomena, there are other factors at play, as you noted.....but to ignore and ridicule this as you and @Ryan Moyer have done is just silly.

Thanks, meanwhile in the next 5 years, inventory would be a decision factor whether your total return investment would beat S&P number or not.No location would yield the same numbe and it's known from today.Someone in Cleveland would be happier rather than folks at Raleigh ( lol someone complain) :-)The very reason I stick investing locally because job growth here is even outpacing supply pre-covid, and the higher the interest rate, price is increased as well, it's weird phenomena.
