If you lack the funds to flip any other way, go for it, but do understand it's not a business model for long term success. 

However, our current hard money lender only funds one loan at a time, limiting our ability to take on multiple deals simultaneously.

Jorge told us don't expect anything for awhile possibly a couple years...I have myself personally have $50,000 invested with them and I doubt I will ever see it again.

I think I can open another personal checking account at the bank I already have and it'll be under my name but i'm trying to buy out of state rentals with an LLC I own.

This is what I heard third hand, so not sure if it is true but i believe the person got this from the PPM which was noting where the monies were going.
