Chicago, with its vibrant neighborhoods and strong rental market, is a prime location for this strategy.

You would really want to do your own due diligence and probably fly to the market(s) you'd like to invest in.

And once you change to a new market, you throw all that out and have to rebuild it.I love expensive markets.  

Look for dated properties in great neighborhoods or homes with functional but unappealing layouts that you can modernize.A live-and-flip strategy offers some unique advantages but comes with challenges.

I've been wanting to expand out of my market in Iowa, and see that the Winter Haven, Lakeland, Haines City areas are similar to purchase points as my market.

While the real estate market usually slows down this time of year, we are seeing a lot of buyers taking advantage of homes that have been sitting on the market longer.

I don't use padsplit (weekly rentals); I rent on long-term leases in B Class neighborhoods.
