The other very real option you have and one that will circumvent any future looming bubble is that you could consider refinancing.

I don't know many people that actually save money in different little buckets like that every month but you should at least be aware of what's looming and have a plan in place to deal with it. 

Are there a lot of deferred maintenance, pending lawsuits, or nightmare tenants looming? 

Aside from the looming economic correction, if you sell it in the future, depending on when, you'll be liable to capital gains tax.

You could get an ex-parte hearing in family law by your attorney (assuming you have one) and get into court right away due to the looming foreclosure.The only potential good news down the road...or...I should say less bad news is that if she gets it, you could show the decree to a new lender, showing you are not responsible for it.

I don't see the indicator of a big correction yet, but the data I've read recently shows the above indicators, which are all signs of a correction looming, even if it is small.Thoughts?
