You should paint with a color the same or lighter than the original aluminum.

The product I bought had locking clips at each end which really helped as long as they would align & actually lock.Also on another SFH I own the lighter eng wood product they installed 'echos' a lot when walking on it.

In my most recent remodel I used:- off-white for bathroom- different off-white for ceiling- white trim- soft yellow/tan for master bedroom- gray for bedroom- lighter gray for darker middle bedroom- gray/green for living room, kitchen and hallwayThe net effect is that the house "pops."

They will push the heated (lighter) air down towards the floor, but must be slow moving or even put on a rheostat.Cold air is heavier then warm air and pushes the warm air upward creating layers in the home.Newer furnaces push the air out at greatly reduced temperatures (around 90 Fahrenheit )compared to the older heaters (130+ degress f ) ...

We did live with him to help out o the financial side. since we moved out hes been struggling. he offered the us to buy in for what he owes 140k arv would be $450 it needs about 20k in lighter rehab.
