The DM (decision maker) is the best person to be in touch with then the next in line maybe the person now she is closest with.. 

I’m not looking to make real estate my full time job or anything that intense, but more tools to get me to financial independence sooner are always welcome, and this is something I think I could be good at. 

Either an obsession or a money maker......Just sayin' ....... 

It's my belief that because of the age, maturity level, number of decision makers (parents & their child) that it is one of the hardest niches in buy and hold investing.

Other equally contributing factors you want to consider is the properties positive cashflow, asset appreciation over time, debt service paydown over time, as well as hedging your dollars against inflation - all of which make real estate such a great investment especially when you have the right property!

Set up some bunks and a coffee maker, stock the fridge with some muffins and eggs and offer up as a fishing camp? 

I’m established in my career and not looking to make RE my full time but I don’t have a ton of capital and I enjoy modeling and underwriting and being hands on with management so the passive/syndication route isn’t an option.

I had to replace the old laminate counter top in my LTR because the previous tenants had a coffee maker that leaked right where the diagonal seam was, and the water buckled the laminate over time.I had to put in a new laminate counter top because of time constraints.

Supposedly Don is the only decision maker however you can never talk directly to Don.
