Joshua Pavao Won't insure with Active cloth wiring?

We have encountered companies which will not underwrite knob-and-tube or aluminium wiring {which can be perfectly safe}, but never one that refused paper/fabric-covered wiring.What does your insurer classify as "fabric/cloth covered wiring" {I cannot really see the pictures closely enough).

We also think that the rent rolls might have been fabricated, since they ended at a future date, but 3 of the units were vacant, and the rents were much higher than I'd expect to get.

Look up the costs of materials for various things (Flooring, cabinets, granite, shower tile, vanities, fixtures, fans, windows, doors, baseboards, etc) and then look up the local flooring installers, cabinet installers, countertop fabricators, shower tilers, window installers, etc. and ask them how much they charge for labor on certain things.

@David Fuhrmann, as I welder/fabricator I would recommend not having any hardie board or  wood around that stove.
