Many times their cash flow calculation is using flawed underwriting.  

While I didn't love the 30% cut they took, I was happy to have it in experienced hands (and a lot of what they did, advised, etc. was on-track with what I had researched, discovered here and on other STR forums).

@Michael Klinger  As others posted, SoFi and Discover personal loans are good options and I've used them in the past.  2-3 business days from application to funds in my checking account.

You might be able to afford a "better" property then.If you invest somewhere else in a vacation rental for example, you might also discover another place that you might like for retirement as well that might be more profitable.

As soon as we discovered that they were taking out fees without disclosing them to us, we fired them.
