8) Let them know you don’t appreciate their high-pressure sales techniques… And you are going to call the news channel, the better business bureau, the real estate board, and tell them all about the picketing group you are getting ready to assemble in front of their sales department. 9) Let them know you will be standing on the corner in front of the time share on Saturday with a sign offering to sell your time share for 10 cents on the dollar right in front of their sales center...10) Let them know that you are putting together a group of other unhappy owners and wondered if they would release you their names and addresses, or would your attorney need to subpoena that information… Bottom line… Cause polite trouble… But do it legally… See what they say… If your are enough of a pain in the arse… It will be easier for them to just take the place back and have you go away…Aren’t I fun?

Luckily my long commutes have been saved by the Picket Pockets podcasts and my free time spent here on the site and expanding my knowledge through reading.My goals are to be become a buy and hold investor while maintaining my current career so that in the future my retirement and income streams are not solely based on my job and/or equity investments.I do have a question that I would like feedback from the forum as I begin to formulate my plans in the near future:When we go to make the move we will have enough of down payment (20%) saved up for our primary residence and I project my investment property down payment (including reserves) will be realized in another 12 to 18 months.

If I am dealing with known commodities like @Sam Craven (Senna Homes) or @Lyall Storandt (New Western Acquisitions) or White Picket Realty, Jet Lending, Houston House Buyers, I will push to put money in escrow at a title company but I would still do a deal with them even if they wanted the deposit in their name.
