Just don't see the S-Corp or another LLC having a place here..I've heard tax advisors say it takes around $70k min of self employment income for the break even point for S-Corp to make sense.

I would suggest getting another full-time job for the time being and investing/doing STR on the side until you can fully and comfortably replace the income that you would be receiving from your job.Is your LTR in need of repair?

Above just the assumption that it'd be far more of a corporate environment, I just don't think that would happen at a larger shop, at least not for quite awhile, and I do think I would generally be more at home with a smaller office of people (smaller being relative to multi-national, or coast-to-coast, I suppose).Personally speaking, do you find that you're in that type of environment with a boutique brokerage?
