@Ariel TradioHello Ariel im from Zamboanga Sibugay but i am an OFW here in Abu Dhabi im also a newbie in Real Estate but i already jump in too real estate because i do purchase a farm for 320k for 3hectars thats beside the national highway in my hometown i got it cheap,it gives me a cash flow in every 3 months for the coconut market thats 10k in every 3months,my long term plan for the farm is buy and hold probably in future it will increase its market value then i can sell it.the last real estate deal i got was last jan of this year a friend of mine has a 3unit 1 bedroom apartment and a commercial space and its also along the highway in my hometown.he sold to me for 2.3m and payable in 3 years i made a down payment of 700k so the remaining will be paid in terms as agreed,my plan for this is i will apply a bank loan abroad to fully paid the deal.this apartment and commercial space is already having a cash flow of 17k a month.i think this a good start for my real estate venture.i am into deep studying all the concept of this real estate while im working abroad.and also i almost forgot i have a side business of real estate here in abu dhabi.

This trip need to pick up about 30 coconut seedlings to plant.  

Anyone that tells you that a longterm marketing plan is wrong seriously needs to stop investing and go chop coconuts or something.EVERYONE obsesses about technology, the latest gadget, the latest facebook ad trick.. it is BULLPOOP!!

Second, that "bunch of locals" you saw standing around were the very ones who pulled out their own machetes and chainsaws and helped clear the roads after hurricane Maria (I was here, I witnessed it), who carried food and water to elderly neighbors, etc, who collect fruits and coconuts from their own yards and sell them at roadside stands. 

I just spent the last 4 days in Coconut Grove, The Gables, Key Biscayan, Brickell, and a bit further south, LOVED them all, I live 3 hours north and was told those areas are super crowded.
