From what the tenant has recorded and the building super has told me, there is constant stomping/yelling/things dropping/talking from above from 6am to 11pm, and that the tenants ceilings and furniture vibrate and shake constantly.

Solid materials transmit sound vibration, so noise made in one room will vibrate sheetrock, which will vibrate 2x4s which will vibrate your sheetrock, which will then vibrate the air.

Well, those families choose to purchase homes outside of the community that they work in and place their bets in the growth of a new location.You see, when a whip cracks it sends outward vibrations in equal directions.

I go out and rent a sander , if the floors are in bad shape I get a drum sander , if they are in fair shape I get the large vibrating sander ,I do take the time to do 3 coats .

Usually a train is a negative to sales price and for a homeowner buying or rentability.Now if the train carries people it can be a benefit for commuters being close to walk to the train to get to their jobs etc.2 points is the vibration of the train and the noise of the train.Next is how active is the route and at what times does it come by??

For our recent 1500 sq ft addition I engineered 20 ft spans & even with the extra support it still seems to have some vibration when the grand children run & jump (on an 8lb pad under 62oz carpet).

One of the vacant units could have flea eggs that didn't hatch until they felt your vibrations.

He put a spray on the floor and required that I vacuum everyday; the vibration causes eggs to hatch and die with their exposure to the spray.I want to save myself the hundreds of dollars it cost me by doing it myself. 

And the walls/ceiling are so thin we searched the house for hours looking for a rogue cell phone vibrating, only to later figure out it was the neighbors.

Mine is in my basement  and when my mom ( who was 84 at the time) was walking briskly on it I could hear upstairs in my office LOL.. not to mention vibration etc.
