I've spent a lot of time in Watertown while doing some work at Fort Drum. 

It sounds like they are trying to drum up business for candle/Tupperware/essential oil/Mary Kay parties, (the list is endless) or religious activities where all might not be welcome.   

Rod Drum, thank you for the advice I will be discussing this with her, I will also broden my search area.

Also some of the older homes could still have soap/dirt/grease coated drum traps that invariably freeze & are tough to get to. 

I see you always beating on the drum of "refi and reinvest" when it may not be be best option for somebody that has enough properties already and just wants to simplify their current investments.

We are currently stationed at Fort Drum, NY, where we are still adjusting to the six months of snow each year.
