We used to live out there, and went to both Magic Mountain and Disneyland quite a bit.

One of the companies I used to work for owned a chunk of land near Disneyland in CA and went through this process to get the ability for it to be developed.

In the "inland empire" CA it appears that the buying depression is over,, I am making an offer on a 3/2 house in my hood and the first day it was listed (yesterday) the front of the house looks like the disneyland parking lot,,, houses are getting mulitiple offers on day one im kinda bumbed i was hoping to pick up a few more rentals this year but it looks like the competition is heavy nowmy realtor told me that there are lots of " realestate investor seminar people jumping in and bidding things up way too much,on a more positive note she said there is another huge wave of inventory comming so prices should stay dow for a whilehow is it out there ?

Bay area is pretty expensive but I love to visit there on my way to Disney Land.

For instance, if I had one in California near Disneyland, it would definitely make money.

For a 4BR/3BA in Orange County, not far from Disneyland and Anaheim convention center it brought me 1 inquiry in 3 months and 0 bookings.

As long as people feel that CA is overpopulated/crowded, restrictive, dangerous, or whatever reason people have for leaving, and as long people feel that they can have a higher quality of life that works for them in Boise, Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, AZ, LV, TX, etc. then we're going to continue to see these markets have a large influx of California transplants.And just so you aren't getting me wrong, this is not a knock on CA (I've lived there for a couple years before and loved it - beaches, Disneyland, cool cities, mountains, sunsets, redwood forests, it's amazing and I can see why so many people live there!)

we can also have it (at or) near disneyland - plenty convention space there like where Brandon Turner recently did his due diligence prospecting for the socal market area!

If you're 5 miles from Disney Land, none of this may matter!
