Hypothesizing, but Prop 13 in CA incentivizes long time residents in high value areas to stay put in their homes ... that may be a contributor to the landscape that's led to this trend.Personally, I don't have sympathy for anyone who based their business model on STRs here ... higher return, higher risk.
