There's so many catalysts for population and job growth (Intel, Honda, Amazon, Nationwide Hospital, etc).

I remember a buddy who once represented a client in the Santa Cruz Mountains.. this client turned an old barn into a shared art studio and invited local artists to rent the space, which ended up boosting inccome in ways they never imagined.The Redwood market can be tricky because of environmental restrictions, zoning quirks, and limited inventory.

So art my 401 k since 2010 was doing 11% to 12% (google,Microsoft, Meta, Amazon...etc).   

I'm an investor here in Columbus OH myself and have seen the city's solid and steady growth with strong economic fundamentals driving the market like major companies moving here (Meta, Intel, Google, Amazon, etc), job growth, and population growth.

Similar areas that have legal under utilized permitted space convert to max studios that you can fit.  

(This includes Amazon)Equity Loan The last opportunity I've thought about recently, is taking the equity out of the house here in Italy, and investing it into a property in the US where appreciation is higher.

So researching properties to buy doesn't count unless you actually buy something -- and this isn't Amazon where I'm randomly buying things on a weekly basis.
