Have them insure your car along with renters insurance.  

I just noticed the following language on a policy for a loan I made:"This insurance contract is with an insurer not licensed to transact insurance in this state and is issued and delivered as a surplus line coverage pursuant to the Tennessee insurance statutes."

Yeah, I just did a loan for an investor in the North Tahoe area and the insurance was wild, a lot of that is only going to qualify for Cal FAIR unfortunately due to wildfire risk. 

But one tool that often gets overlooked in the wealth-building strategy is life insurance - and it can be a powerful asset for your real estate business. 

Add another $300 or so for taxes and insurance and you're at $2465 PITI. 

Buildings are the same age.Is it possible that the insurance brokers advises the insurance companies to do those inspections?

I use Foremost and USAA.As always make sure you have STR insurance on your STR property or you may not be covered when a catostophe strikes.

@Maria M. there are some other insurance carriers we have used for Liability only in FL. 

You will need 6 months worth of the payment (including taxes, insurance, HOA) in liquid assets to show an underwriter.
