I know this sounds slightly counter intuitive, but stay with me.

I have experience with Quickbooks Online (Intuit bookkeeper), Xero (ProAdvisor), RentRedi, BuilderTrend and more. 

In addition to reviewing the numbers, take time to tap into your intuition (through meditation or other method) and your gut will help you make the right choice.

I found the setup and management process on Booking.com to be horrendous, not intuitive, time-consuming, fees are expensive, I had to manually process credit cards, and only got a few bookings for my trouble.  

After analyzing hundreds or even thousands of deals, you develop an intuitive understanding of not just the numbers but their sensitivity.

I've talked with people who own hundreds, even THOUSANDS of these units and they all shared the same intuition.

Seems very comprehensive and intuitive.

The number one problem with RentRedi is the total lack of customer support and yes with Intuit you will have to talk to an oversees call center but every question I needed help with got answered and all problems got resolved.

This seems counter-intuitive as I doubt you’ll ever find a really good PM company but the headaches of managing any kind of a problem remotely overshadows the ongoing concern that a PM company is inefficient and expensive (at least it does for us).

It turns out with inflation and cost of living soaring across the US, my intuition may be leading others, like yourself, to call Iowa home as well.
